Constrained Ball : To Draw A Straight Line

The Constrained Ball is a gadget that helps you draw straight lines and indicates the length of the lines as well. It is designed by Giha Woo.

People not only write with pens, nut often we draw lines with it. Most of the time we use a ruler to draw a straight line or do it free hand which results in a not so straight line.  This invention creates a way to draw straight lines without using ruler.

Normally, a ball point pen freely rolls in accordance with a ball that located at the tip of pen. This device is to apply a controlling condition to a ball in order to roll to only in one direction. With the added ruling device feature, the length of line will be measurable as well. You can even draw a straight line with an exact length.

The total length of a line will be indicated on measuring wheel. The mounting area is made with a flexible rubber material to provide the best tightness. This product can draw horizontal and vertical lines in addition to 45 angled lines. By using this product, you can draw under lines, tables and  straight lines of desired lengths. Now that is intelligent design.
